This is my first blog! Im pretty excited about this. As I write this, Charlie and Ciera are playing together with play dough. They are getting along well right now, which is always very nice!
Here's a little of whats been going on in our life lately-
Just finished doing our garage, we put in beautiful cabinets and carpeted the floor. The kids are excited because they now have a huge room to play in. We call it "Charlie and Ciera's playroom garage"!
This week I have been trying to potty train Ciera. This has been very challenging- she is a stubborn little one! Yesterday she had a great day, no accidents! Today she had one accident. I am determined to get her trained! Just gotta stick with it. Sometimes I think Im training myself, just as much as I am training her. It is work to pottty train a little one! Ciera also started up her princess ballet class this week, which she LOVES!
Charlie is doing great in his Kindergarten Spanish immersion program. he loves it, and is speaking and understanding a lot of Spanish words pretty well now. My goal for 2011 is to try and learn Spanish myself... We'll see how that goes!
All in all, we are loving our life, we are so blessed. Stay tuned for more updates on the Newman family!
