I’m so excited to share with you about Donna B’s Bakery in Laguna Niguel, CA. And I should mention that Donna B’s just won the critic’s choice for THE BEST COOKIE IN OC! (Best of OC in the OC Register)
Let’s first get started with a little background info on this unique bakery.
Donna started off her company 20 years ago. She was a single mom, looking to make a little extra income. She started off by selling her homemade cookie dough to her family and friends, and word spread quickly! Now 20 years later Donna is celebrating the 20 year anniversary of her bakery, Donna B’s.
This bakery sells cupcakes, cake pops, beautiful wedding cakes, birthday cakes… You name it! But I think that their cookies are the real showstoppers. From the most amazing snickerdoodles, oatmeal toffee, marble, maple bacon (one of my personal favorites, photo below) to the classic chocolate chip cookie. Donna B’s cookies are sure to satisfy your sweet tooth.
Not only does she sell her cookies, but she also sells her cookie dough, so you can make these wonderful treats at home! She also offers her cookie dough for fundraiser sales. If you, your school, church or business/organization need to raise money, is there any sweeter way to do it?!

Donna is such an amazing baker and would like to offer the OC Family readers a few at home baking tips:
*When baking cookies, always use parchment paper
* Use an ice cream scooper when measuring out the cookie dough, it makes the perfect sized cookie, and makes them look nice too. (FYI- Donna sells her cookie dough scooper at the shop for a great price!)
* Bake cookies at 335 degrees

Donna’s latest cookie- the “Tropical Delight”, a banana flavored sugar cookie with macadamia nuts topped with coconut is now being offered at the Beach Hut Deli. That sounds SO good!
